Wood Shop BBQ began as a dream between friends in Seattle, founded by Matt Davis and James Barrington, who bonded over their shared love of authentic smoked meats. What started as a food truck quickly grew into a neighborhood favorite, eventually opening a brick-and-mortar spot that brought the flavors of Central Texas barbecue to the Pacific Northwest. As word spread, so did the lines out the door, with locals praising the smoky brisket, tender pulled pork, and inventive sides that set Wood Shop apart.
The menu expanded to include both classic staples and creative new twists, while a little-known secret menu quietly developed for die-hard fans. Few realize there are hidden gems beyond the printed offerings, making each visit feel like an insider’s experience.
